About Eurframe and its Founder and Inventor

Cary Clement Tomas Bellaflor (@caarytomas), Founder and Inventor of Eurframe

The Eurframe was conceived from the consistent observation while driving the freeways of Los Angeles and the autobahns around Munich on how most cars on the road now have larger license plate areas at the rear of the car.  The larger license plate areas are required because cars have become more international with car manufacturers making car designs marketable globally.  Originally, cars for the American market had the minimal area for the size of its license plates and the cars for the European market had the minimal area for its license plates.  American plates were tall and narrow while European plates were short and wide.  Global cars combine these two areas, making their rear license plate areas tall and wide.

This observation lead to the idea that a license plate frame that can fill this area and provide more area for graphics.  With a little bit of design and engineering, the Eurframe was conceived  from this idea.  In order to maximize a single area for graphics, the license plate was offset to one side, leaving the rest of the area for graphics.  In order to accomplish this, a mount had to be developed that allowed for the offset while utilizing existing bolt holes in cars.

Cary is an entrepreneur with a lifelong focus on design, real estate, and technology.  His previous company, Serva Transports Systems GmbH, is a manufacturer and provider for robotic technology for automobile manufacturing located at the base of the Alps outside of Munich, Germany.  It was launched in 2011 with its patented automated parking technology centered on robotic automated guided vehicles.  The technology, known as RAY, was utilized to increase parking efficiency in real estate developments and parking structures.  RAY was successfully launched at Düsseldorf International Airport in 2012 and was utilized by Audi at its Ingolstadt manufacturing facility for finished automotive logistics in 2013.  The technology behind RAY was prized by the Volkswagen Group and the company was acquired by Porsche AG in 2020.  Serva now provides manufacturing solutions for the Porsche and its sister companies at Volkswagen Group.  Before Serva, Cary worked in architecture and real estate including completing the design and construction of a new music and media facility for Sony Music Entertainment Japan in Tokyo.  He worked on projects ranging from single family residential to media facilities.  Cary has a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
